enum Cluster {
Head,
Continuation,
}Expand description
A laid-out glyph’s place in its shaping cluster. The engine keeps one glyph per character so cursor arithmetic stays simple, padding a many-to-one substitution with zero-advance continuations — so a row can hold more glyphs than the shaper produced.
Variants§
Head
Carries the cluster’s advance, and so the cluster’s shaped glyph.
Continuation
Padding for a character folded into the head’s glyph; draws nothing.
